GreenTree plans to assist government agencies in implementing the Energy policies. One of the initiatives under the GreenTree umbrella is building educational capacity of architectural and engineering colleges. We aim to develop an online energy simulation training and certification program for college students and corporate professionals. This program helps students and professionals to learn how to design high performance buildings. USAID ECO-III program together with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is very actively reforming the existing architectural curriculum. It is introducing two pilot courses: building physics and energy modelling at both bachelor and master level. The online programs will provide an impetus to the process initiated by these agencies. GreenTree introduces the online certification program for those who want to add a valuable online recognition to their curriculum vitae. We ensure that this program will upgrade the student's level of understanding in the environmentally sustainable energy efficient design and construction theories and practices.
Currently this program is in proposal stage. The program will be activated as soon as the appropriate course content is ready and the relevant approvals from national/international agencies have been obtained.
